Amaco Glaze Workshop with Jennifer Hoolihan, May 23-24

Join us at Sullivan Pottery for a two day intensive Amaco glaze workshop, Sat & Sun May 23-24, 9am-4pm each day. Suitable for all skill levels, everyone is welcome! The focus will be experimenting with a wide range of cone 5/6 glaze lines like Potter’s Choice, Celadon, Satin Mattes, Potter’s Choice Fluxes and more. We will also use the new Kiln Ice, Crawls and spend time experimenting with the Ceramic Printing Inks!  Demonstrations on glaze application and surface decoration will be included. Please bring 4-6 small bisqued pieces, preferably not larger than about 4” x 4”.  Small cups or bowls and test tiles would be perfect.  Smaller things will give you a chance for more experiments. We will glaze on Saturday and Sunday.  Some of the samples glazed on Saturday will be fired Saturday night and unloaded Sunday afternoon for everyone to enjoy.  You will take your unfired samples bac…
