Bas Relief Sculpted Tile Workshop with Nan Jacobsohn

Sullivan Pottery is honored to have acclaimed artist Nan Jacobsohn back to lead a workshop on making gorgeous hand made bas relief tiles. Bas relief is a sculptural technique where the imagery is slightly raised from the surface, giving the tile dimension and texture. You’ll create 1-3 tiles, up to 12”x12” of your own design. Tiles can be any subject, any shape, as a series or individual tiles. You can get as creative as you like. Take this opportunity to let Nan guide you in her unique way of expanding your skills beyond what you could even imagine.
